Whisky Tasting at Mackie Lake House

We’ll gather in the historic main floor rooms of this Edwardian mansion to enjoy three blind tastings featuring some of the finest international whiskies. Next, you’ll be served a selection of palate-cleansing snacks while you experience the live jazz and blues stylings of legendary guitarist Neil Fraser. We will then invite you to savor two Scotch Whisky tastings and learn the history of these spirits, while you consider their complex character and story. This intimate event takes place on the evening January 23, 2025 - just ahead of Robbie Burns Day.

To protect our original fir floors, visitors are encouraged to bring clean indoor shoes or slippers. Mackie Lake House is a registered heritage site and is operated by a non-profit society with the mandate to: preserve and present the building, grounds, furnishings and related history of Mackie Lake House for the enjoyment and education of the public.
