THE POWER OF MUSIC & THE CROSSFIRE BAND

After cancellations due to the pandemic and venue flooding, the Community Dental Access Centre is pleased to announce the return of its ever-popular musical fundraising event.

This year’s event is titled “The Power of Music”, and features Betty Anne Northup and Marty Edwards, backed by the fabulous 9-piece Crossfire Rhythm & Horns. This performance is a salute to the music of Tom Jones, Peggy Lee, Englebert, Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Bublé and more!

The event will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre. Tickets are $35/person and are available in person at the Ticket Seller Box Office; by phone at 250-549-7469, or online at TicketSeller.ca.

In addition to the concert, there will be a wonderful Silent Auction featuring art, goods and services from local businesses and artisans.

All funds raised by this event stay here in our community to support the work of Community Dental Access Centre. As the North Okanagan’s only non-profit, low-cost dental clinic, they provide discounted dental services to low-income individuals and families within our region experiencing financial and other barriers to dental health care. The clinic can provide these services through fundraising efforts such as “The Power of Music”, in addition to the generosity of community donors and supporters. Each year, through thousands of patient visits, the dedicated staff and volunteers work to fulfill the motto “Create a Smile, Change a Life”.

Doors open at 6:00PM and the show starts at 7:00PM.
