The 1st Annual GLOBAL GALA in support of VDICSS.
Join us for a new celebration of multiculturalism in Vernon. During this unique event experience you will receive a passport that allows you to enjoy foods from every continent provided by our own local Immigrant run businesses, watch traditional performances by local dancers & artists, browse the Global Artisans Market & finish the night with a dj & dancing. Each traveler will receive a welcome drink to sip made from locally sourced beverages. Both bars will offer many local wine, beer, & spirit options as well as some unique alcohol free options. This year's fundraising focus is daycare programs to support new clients to the Vernon area. It is a gathering of community to embrace diversity. It is not a sit down event, although there will be high top tables & many areas to comfortably gather.
Guests are invited to dress formally. If you have cultural attire from your own family ancestry it is encouraged.
