Back in Time Tour

Back in Time Tours return to Mackie Lake House this July and August. Beginning July 9th, and running every Tuesday until August 27th, guests can enjoy a guided tour of the historic 1910 Mackie Lake House, built on the shores of Kalamalka Lake in Coldstream.

Guests are regaled with stories of its inhabitants—many of whose original objects are on view in the home—even select dresser drawers contain small exhibitions of artifacts. You will stroll through nearly every room of this Arts and Crafts-style home.

Tours are a treat for lovers of history, art, architecture, and culture. Mackie Lake House is a must-see for local citizens hoping to learn more about the origins of their community, as well as for guests to the area who would like a rich experience of culture in the North Okanagan. The collection within these walls has a story to tell—you’ll love traveling back in time with us!

Tickets for summer tours are just $10 per person, at ticketseller.ca or at the door. Tours begin promptly at 11:00 am and last a little over an hour. See you soon!
