The Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre Society proudly presents Motus O Dance Theatre & Marina Nemat’s Prisoner of Tehran on Sunday, February 24, 2019 starting at 7:30pm. Prisoner of Tehran is the third show in our 2018/19 SPOTLIGHT Theatre Series.
Based on the bestselling memoir by Marina Nemat, this piece combines spoken word, movement, video and music to tell Marina’s story of being imprisoned and tortured as a teenage girl in Tehran, Iran.
