The OSO is joined by Inuk artist and throat singer, Tanya Tagaq. Recent winner of the coveted Polaris Prize, Tagaq has been described as one of the most unique performers on the planet. She is an accomplished throat singer who transforms this traditional art form into contemporary expression. Qiksaaktuq, (Grief) is an expression of the five stages of grief written and performed in tribute to the missing and murdered Indigenous women in Canada. This performance will be visceral, raw and unforgettable.
